We’ve given the classic ham and cheese pizza a veg-boosted makeover! Cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and a scattering of peppery rocket will make this pizza a family and entertainer’s favourite.

Ingredients

  • 1 portion two-ingredient pizza dough (see notes)

  • Self-raising flour, to dust

  • 150g grated Italian cheese blend (mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan)

  • 100g shaved ham off the bone

  • 120g pkt baby rocket

  • 125g sundried tomato strips in oil

  • 400g can cherry tomatoes, drained, halved

  • 1/2 red onion, sliced

Method

  • Preheat oven to 220C / 240C fan forced. Spray a large baking tray with olive oil. Prepare the pizza dough. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and use fingers to evenly spread the dough until large enough to cover the baking tray. Place on the prepared tray.
  • Scatter the dough with the cheese blend. Arrange ham slices over the top. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until dough and cheeses are golden.
  • Meanwhile, place the rocket, sundried tomato and 1 tbs of the tomato oil, cherry tomatoes, and red onion in a bowl. Toss until well combined.
  • Scatter salad over the hot pizza. Slice into pieces and serve immediately.

Tips and notes

  • Two-ingredient pizza dough is made with just flour and yoghurt. Check out the recipe, here.
  • To make this pizza vegetarian, simply remove the ham.
  • You can add all kinds of ingredients to the salad. Try bocconcini balls, sliced button mushrooms, grated zucchini, green or black olives.
