Ingredients
2 wholemeal pita bread pockets
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
2 thick slices smoked chicken breast
1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
Lettuce leaves, washed and patted dry with paper towel
1/2 avocado, sliced
Method
- Open the 2 pita bread pockets and spread the insides with the wholegrain mustard.
- Place a slice of chicken inside each pocket. Top with alfalfa, lettuce and avocado.
- Serve immediately or place in an airtight container for a school or work lunch.
Tips and notes
- Instead of smoked chicken breast, try chopped barbecued chicken, or canned salmon or tuna, drained and flaked.
