With just three ingredients, blueberry cream cheese is simple and uncomplicated, and makes a very tasty spread for freshly baked bagels.

Ingredients

  • 250g block Philadelphia Original cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 200g fresh blueberries

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Selection of 4-6 fresh bagels, halved, to serve

Method

  • Place the cream cheese, blueberries and cinnamon in a bowl. Use a stick blender to blend until smooth.
  • Spoon cream cheese mixture into a serving bowl. Serve with bagel halves, to spread.

Tips and notes

  • Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • If you like your breakfast a little sweeter, add 1 tbs icing sugar to the bowl before blitzing, or drizzle honey over the bagel spread with cream cheese.
